 Technology Support

Please visit our Technology Committee wiki  to get information on how we are preparing our teachers and students for 21st century learning.

Input concerning what classes we should offer staff next year can be found under the Discussions tab within the Agenda Items section.

Click on this link to get the latest edition of IT Magazine,  LPS's advisory publication created as a technology guideline designed to highlight great technology applications and important news for schools.  According to CIO Dan Maas, the annual publication "is not a technical guide, but a practical one.  As we seek to encourage certain technologies and pedagogical practices across the district we hope this document will give (our) school leadership good ideas and sufficient cost information to make good budgetary decisions."

Visit our new HHS Technology Blog at http://hhs-tech.blogspot.com/  There is an spot on this blog for teacher feedback on how the Innovative Technology Grant (having a computer and LCD projector in every classroom and having wireless in the building) has impacted teaching. We would like every teacher to contribute to this blog! Feel free to comment on our latest post about our Home Computer Usage Survey that we asked staff to fill out in September. Add any comments you may have on survey results (if you have seen them) or just on home computer use in general and how it affects you (Do you have/want the latest in technology at home? How do you think technology/internet access at home could be improved?...?). We appreciate any comments you would like to add.
