The Heritage High School Science Department offers a wide range of courses for our students. All of our courses have a strong laboratory component; use inquiry based teaching methods, and incorporate various technologies (such as computer based simulations and calculator based lab technology using a variety of probes and statistical analyses on the graphing calculators).
Our core courses are Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. We also offer Honors Physical Science, Honors Biology, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics B and AP Physics C. For electives we offer: Geology, Astronomy, Meteorology, Oceanography, Genetics, Plant Biology and Zoology.
